This workshop, organized by CIDETEC Energy Storage as part of the European GIGABAT project, will provide a space to share knowledge, discuss innovative solutions, and explore collaboration opportunities that drive sustainability and competitiveness in the European battery industry. Throughout the day, we will feature inspiring talks from industry leaders, collaborative working sessions, and a guided visit to CIDETEC Energy Storage’s facilities.

This technical workshop brings together experts and leading manufacturers to address the challenges and solutions in the characterization and testing of lithium-ion batteries.

Throughout the day, presentations will cover key topics such as second-life batteries, electrical testing, climatic and vibration tests, sample preparation and analysis, particle characterization, and metallography.

In addition, there will be hands-on demonstrations and dedicated spaces for networking.
