The integration of PROTEO software into Batalyse’s Collect platform will enable more accurate forecasting of battery lifetime.
Batalyse, a specialist in advanced data processing for R&D and quality management, and CIDETEC Energy Storage, a renowned research organization in energy storage, are excited to announce a new strategic partnership aimed at enhancing battery ageing prediction within R&D data management systems.
CIDETEC Energy Storage brings over 25 years of expertise across the entire battery value chain, from materials development to final application. Their comprehensive services include material validation, pilot-scale manufacturing, battery engineering and rigorous performance testing.
Batalyse provides software solutions for R&D and QM, particularly in electrochemical systems. Their platform automates the collection, analysis and management of complex experimental data, streamlining workflows for battery (safety tests), fuel cell, electrolysis, and supercapacitor technologies.
As part of this collaboration, CIDETEC Energy Storage’s AI-powered ageing prediction software, PROTEO Prediction, will be integrated into Batalyse’s R&D data management tool, Collect. PROTEO enables precise lifetime forecasting of battery cells by incorporating electrode characteristics and user-defined usage profiles. This integration will empower users to make more informed decisions through advanced ageing insights, directly within their data environments.
In addition, CIDETEC Energy Storage offers tailored development of ageing models for any battery cell chemistry, while Batalyse continues to enrich its platform by integrating third-party and open-source technologies. This ensures users benefit from a seamless, flexible ecosystem that supports innovation and accelerates progress toward sustainable energy solutions.
