CIDETEC presented its capabilities and latest developments at the 9th edition of the aviation industry’s leading trade fair, which was held in Frankfurt from 28th to 30th October.
The 9th edition of the AIRTEC trade fair, which was inaugurated by the German Government’s Finance Minister, had more than 500 exhibitors from over 30 countries. These exhibitors, who represented the entire value chain of the aviation industry, exhibited their products, services and latest developments to a specialised international audience. They included leading companies from different fields such as design, engineering, materials, production, electronics and sensor systems. This event is also the perfect stage to meet clients and suppliers to establish agreements and future developments. An international conference was held at the event at the same time, with seven symposia: aviation, space, sensors, testing and avionics, unmanned aerial systems and helicopters.
CIDETEC unveiled its latest developments in nanomaterials, elastomers and self-healing rubber, thermoplastic and thermoset composites, pressure sensors, multifunctional coatings and electrochromic devices on its own stand with prototypes and onsite demonstrations. It also had the chance to hold B2B meetings with over 25 of the industry’s top companies, attend conference talks and see first-hand the developments of other exhibitors of interest.
The trade fair undoubtedly gave CIDETEC an excellent opportunity to promote its technology products for the aviation industry, and to establish new contacts for future industrial partnerships and create networks with strategic organisations within the sector.
