The meeting brought together representatives of the European eCAIMAN, SPICY and FIVE VB projects in Vienna.
CIDETEC participated in the workshop held last May 9, which brought together experts representing three European projects on advanced lithium ion batteries. These projects, eCAIMAN, SPICY- both with the participation of CIDETEC- and FIVE VB, pursue the common goal of developing new lithium ion battery technologies based on advanced materials and manufacturing technologies.
The meeting, hosted by AIT, the Austrian Institute of Technology, aimed to launch a discussion on procedures for testing, characterization and standardization of battery testing in order to agree on common criteria and ultimately to develop a positioning paper for its dissemination.
