Cell thermal characterization of iModBatt in AABC2019

The Advanced Automotive Battery Conference (AABC) Europe is one of the major scientific conferences for batteries and battery systems and as such offers the possibility of an intensive professional exchange with other experts in this field. For the iModBatt project, this is particularly relevant in the fields of methods for electrical and thermal cell characterization and battery pack design and construction. Through the new input through presentations and discussions with other scientists working on similar issues, the quality of your own work in the project can be better assessed and further improved.

ISEA RWTH Aachen participated in the AABC event with two posters on the cell thermal behavior analysis. It is fundamental to analyze the thermal characteristics of the cell, which is the core part of the battery pack (BP). This analysis is the input for many other critical elements as the BP thermal conditioning system and the battery management system.
