GreenH2tank

The overall aim of GreenH2tank Project is focused on the development of green recyclable materials and recycling technologies for epoxy-based hydrogen storage tanks. More particularly, the Project has the following General Objectives (GO)

GO1: To bring the maturity of 3R epoxy resin for transport application (type IV hydrogen storage tank) from the actual proof of concept situation (TRL 3) to validation (TRL 5).

GO2: To develop a recyclable hydrogen storage tank prototype based on the 3R epoxy resin having reversible aromatic disulfide bonds.

GO3: To develop an energy efficient and sustainable chemical recycling process for the full recovery of the carbon fibre tow and the 3R epoxy matrix of the hydrogen storage tank
