CIDETEC, recognised at a Future: Fast Forward group event

The consortium distinguishes the partners driving technological development to position Spain as a European Hub for the electric vehicle.

CIDETEC Energy Storage has been recognised at the Future: Fast Forward (F3) event alongside the partners who have completed the first batch of projects from this major national consortium. The distinction was presented by the Secretary of State for Industry, Jordi Garcia Brustenga, and the Undersecretary of Industry and Tourism, Pablo Garde Lobo, in a ceremony that highlighted the commitment and contribution of each entity to the advancement of electromobility in Spain.

The Future: Fast Forward project seeks to boost the development and manufacture of electric and connected vehicles, with the aim of turning Spain into the European Hub for electromobility. In this framework, the event brought together all partners to share the progress achieved and demonstrate, before national and regional administrations, the real impact of the initiatives underway.

As part of the day, CIDETEC presented the results of its research into proprietary solid-state electrolyte battery technology in the exhibition area, along with its capacity to scale and transfer this technology to a pilot scale. In this area, CIDETEC Energy Storage’s capabilities across the entire battery value chain were also presented, including the collaboration with Naturklima which reinforces the commitment to sustainability.
