CIDETEC Awarded the Ramón Rubial Business Prize for its Leadership in the Ecological Transition

The foundation recognises CIDETEC as a benchmark in the ecological transition for its leadership in energy storage projects, sustainable mobility and advanced low environmental impact materials.

CIDETEC has been awarded the Ramón Rubial Business Prize at the 19th edition of these prestigious awards. The jury of the Ramón Rubial Foundation unanimously decided to grant this recognition to the organisation for its outstanding track record as a leading centre in the ecological transition and for its impact on industrial competitiveness through sustainable solutions.

The jury particularly valued CIDETEC’s comprehensive approach to research, technological development and the transfer of sustainable solutions for industry, highlighting its leadership in projects related to energy storage, sustainable mobility and advanced low environmental impact materials.

Its key contribution to decarbonisation and the circular economy through innovative initiatives and a strong network of international collaborations was also recognised.

For CIDETEC, this award represents strong support for its mission to transform intellectual capital into industrialisable solutions that generate wellbeing and sustainability.

The award ceremony for the 19th edition of the Ramón Rubial Awards, in which organisations such as the Military Emergencies Unit (UME), trade unions including UGT and CCOO, and professionals such as journalist Almudena Ariza will also be honoured, will take place next Sunday, 28 June, at 12:00 noon at the Gipuzkoa Chamber of Commerce in Donostia-San Sebastián.
